Veresov Opening

An aggressive 1.d4 system: Nc3 and Bg5 pin the f6 knight, then White either trades on f6 to fracture Black's pawns or castles long for a kingside pawn storm. A theory-light cousin of the Trompowsky.

Sidestep all the Queen's Gambit and Indian-defense theory with one weapon: 1.d4 Nf6 2.Nc3 d5 3.Bg5. Seven drills cover Black's main answers (3...Nbd7, 3...c5, 3...e6, 3...Bf5, 3...g6, 3...h6) plus the sharp 4.Qd3 Richter Attack. Thirty exam puzzles drill the recurring decisions: when to trade Bxf6, when to castle long and storm with g4/h4, and when to break with e4. Built for club players who want sharp positions without memorizing 25-move main lines.
