King's Indian Attack
A universal White system — fianchetto the bishop, castle short, then unleash a kingside pawn storm with e4-e5 and h4-h5.
Learn one setup and use it against the French, Caro-Kann, Sicilian, and almost everything else. The King's Indian Attack gives you a ready-made plan: Nf3, g3, Bg2, O-O, d3, Nbd2 — then close the center with e5 and storm the kingside. Bobby Fischer used it to crush French Defense players; you'll do the same. Seven drills cover every Black setup you'll face, and the 30-position exam drills the recurring tactical motifs: the Nf6+ infiltration, the h4-h5 lever, and the e5 space grab.
